Abstract

312,957. Schofield, S. March 1, 1928. Capsule closures.-A bottle is formed with recesses 2 at intervals in the flange 1 so as to lessen the resistance to the removal of a crown cork therefrom. Depressions' 5 are provided at intervals between the recesses to allow the insertion of a coin &c. beneath the lower edge of the crown cork. The lower face 6 of each depression may be inclined or formed as a helical arc, and the upper sealing face of the bottle neck may be rounded.
