Abstract

496,951. Bottles. KIDD, G. B. June 8, 1937, No. 15829. [Class 125 (i)] Projections constituted by an interrupted ring near the mouth are formed on the inside of the neck of a bottle having an external closure to prevent sealing by an ordinary cork after the contents have been removed. The ring segments 2 taper to form passages 3 which may be narrower at the top than at the bottom, or vice versa. The upper edge of the ring may have an inwardly projecting lip.
