Capsules and like closures. - A closure for milk bottles &c. comprises a fibre cap 5 having a depressed central portion 5' adapted to fit in the bottle mouth, and a split metal ring 6 of square or round cross section adapted to engage the upturned periphery 5c of the portion 5, the periphery being folded inwards over the ring and then outwards to merge into a convex apron 5a adapted to protect the lip of the bottle.
