Abstract

459,993. Stoppers &c. RODGERS, F., and CHERRY-BURRELL, Ltd., Power Road, Chiswick, London. April 3, 1936, No. 9928. [Class 125 (iii)] A short-metal capsule for a bottle &c. of the type which is opened up to facilitate removal on relative rotation of the capsule to the bottle-neck, comprises a metallic capsule 7 which is pressed into engagement with a groove 3 in the bottle-neck. The groove 3 is provided with spaced projections 4 which are tapered in cross-section and which release the cap when it is rotated in a counterclockwise direction.
