[Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv).] Mounting reflectors on lamp p casings.-In a street or like lamp in which two or more parabolic or other reflectors are adapted to concentrate and direct t light from a single source in two or more directions, separate means are provided for adjusting each reflector in a vertical or horizontal plane without affecting its correct focal position with respect to the source of light. In the form, shown in Fig. 1, the upper sides of reflectors 1, 2 are provided with radial arms 5, 6 whilst the body portion 4 is fitted with annular collars 7, 8 provided with radial arms 7a, 8a, the surfaces of all the radial arms being circular with the source of light 3 at the centre. The arms 7a; 8a carry bolts 9 which extend through slots in the arms 5, 6 and are engaged by wing-nuts 9a which clamp the reflectors in any desired vertical position, a ring nut 4x being provided to clamp them in any desired horizontal position. The inner ends of the reflectors may be flanged as at 1a, 2a and surmounted by a dished member 10 arranged above or below the collars 7, 8. Alternatively a large canopy may be arranged over all the reflectors or they may be enclosed in a lantern or globe. In the form shown in Fig. 4, the radial arms 5b, 6b on the reflectors are provided with two or more separated pins or projections adapted to be engaged with any desired horizontal parallel grooves 4b on the lower surface of a part-spherical hood 4a, the reflectors being clamped in position by means of plates 11, 11a and screws 12.
