Reflectors; mounting reflectors on lamp casings. - A light projector is provided with a parabolic or like reflector divided into sectors which are pivoted about one or more axes passing through the light source for the purpose of varying the concentration or divergence of the light in one or more planes. The sectors may be of equal or unequal area, they may be divided into a plurality of elementary mirrors, and the sectors or elementary mirrors mav be pivoted separately or in groups. In the form shown in the Figures, the reflector comprises four sectors 6 - - 9 mounted in frames 10 - - 13 which are fixed to upper pivoted pieces 10<a> - - 13<a> and lower pivoted pieces 10<b> - - 13b, the sectors being rotated about an axis passing through the light source 5 by means of control handles 14, 15 acting on arms 16, 17 engaging the lower pivoted pieces.
