Abstract

523,726. Overhead electric lamps; mounting reflectors and globes. VERITY'S, Ltd., and FORTH. J. W. Jan. 13, 1939, No. 1166. [Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv)] In an electric lamp with a cap or crown 1 to which a globe 6 is clamped in a water-tight manner by a ring 10, the reflector 16 is rigidly supported around the globe and is spaced from the crown 1 and ring 10 to enable light to pass above and below the reflector. As shown, the reflector is carried by rods 13 attached to the ring 10. Clamping bolts 12 hinged to the ring 10 engage in forked lugs 7 on the crown 1.
