368,127. Skid brakes. GOMIS Y CORNET, M., 4, Calle de Atocha, Madrid. April 22, 1931, No. 11886. Convention date, April 30, 1930. [Class 103 (i).] Airscrew driven railway vehicles supported by lower wheels running on rails and guided by upper wheels running on upper rails are provided with brakes independent of the wheels and adapted to be moved against the lower and upper rails. The brake shoes 1 slide in holders 5 against rubber buffers or springs 7 and are secured by adjusting bolts 8. The holders 5 slide on guides 6. The shoes are operated by compressed air cylinders 2 by means of adjusters 3, or by vacuum, electromagnetism or hand.
