Abstract
367,122. Engine radiators on aircraft. MESSIER, G. L. R. J., 29, Avenue Leon Gambetta, Montrouge, Seine, France. Jan. 16, 1931, No. 1506. Convention date, Jan. 25, 1930. [Class 4.] The radiators A<1>, A<2> of water-cooled aircraft engines are disposed in casings in the wings, such casings having nozzle-shaped air inlet and outlet openings c<1>, Fig. 2, and D<1>, Fig. 3, respectively. The outlet openings may be arranged either on the upper, lower or both surfaces of the wings or in the trailing edge thereof. Both the inlet and the outlet openings may be made adjustable. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also the arrangement of a radiator in a recess in the body of the aircraft. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
