[Class 4] An aero-engine mounting includes a band or strap 5, 6 connected at its outer ends 3, 4 to the aircraft structure and to the ports which directly support the engine. As shown, the engine is resiliently or otherwise secured on bearers 11, 12 rigidly or pivotally secured to the band and connected at 16, 17 to the aircraft structure. The band may be in two parts pivotally ccnnected together.
