Abstract

366,478. Force-feed lubricating. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. Sept. 29, 1930, No. 29163. Convention date, Oct. 8, 1929. [Class 12 (iii).] In a hydraulic governor of the type described in Specifications 314,809 and 336,517, [both in Class 57, Governors &c.], the pump 1 mounted on the turbine shaft P supplies oil to the governor through the pipe 28 and the oil leaving the governor at constant pressure determined by the pressure valve 5 passes through pipe 61, cooler 10, pipe 74, bearings &c. 11, pipe 73 to the supply tank 12. A spring- loaded valve 76 is arranged in the pipe 75 to maintain lubricating pressure. An auxiliary pump 16 provided with a byepass valve 15 is arranged to supply to the system before the turbine is started.
