[Class 39 (i).] The surface of an anode or other electrode in contact with cooling water is of tin whereby the formation of scale is reduced. A coating of tin may be applied to an electrode of iron or copper. Specification 202,047, [Class 39 (i), Electric lamps, Arc &c.], is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also the use of other unspecified highly electronegative metals. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
