Abstract

A paint employed as a resist in electrolytic etching comprises a finely divided conductive material such as graphite or a metal such as zinc with a binder such as thick linseed oil or shellac dissolved in spirit; the binder should be about 10 per cent of the mixture. A mixture of graphite with metal may be employed, the metal preferably not being in excess; carbon black may be added.
