Abstract

An anode consisting essentially of nickel contains 0,05-2 per cent of carbon, 0,05-1 per cent of magnesium, 0,05-1 per cent of titanium, and 0,05-1 per cent of silicon; it may also contain up to 0,5 per cent of cobalt, up to 0,25 per cent of iron, up to 0,25 per cent of copper, and up to 0,25 per cent of manganese.
