Abstract
363,856. Preventing lateral canting. GRUPE, H., 8, Neuh÷fferstrasse, Deutz, Cologne, Germany. Jan. 15, 1931, No. 1389. [Class 108 (ii).] In a device for preventing overturning and sideswaying of vehicles, the ends of a pair of pivotallyconnected crossed levers 6, 7 are articulated to bushes 10, two of which are oscillatably mounted on a rod 3 rigidly fixed parallel to the vehicle axle 4 and two of which are oscillatably mounted on a rod 4 fixed to the vehicle frame parallel to the rod 3, buffer springs 11 being interposed between these bushes and the vehicle frame. The levers 6,7 may be composed of groups of levers and friction discs may be inserted between them.
