Description
Das Schleudern der Kraftfahrzeuge wird bekanntlich in der Hauptsache dadurch hervorgerufen, daß der Fahrzeugrahmen gegenüber dem Radgestell durch plötzlich eintretende Belastungsunterschiede an den beiden Seiten des Radgestells in Querschwingungen gerät. Man hat daher bereits vorgeschlagen, den Fahrzeugrahmen mit der Hinterradachse durch Schwinghebel, wie z. B. zwei scherenartig zusammengelenkte Hebel, derart zu verbinden, daß einseitig auftretende Annäherungen zwischen diesen Teilen zwangläufig die gleiche Bewegung auf der anderen Fahrzeugseite herbeiführen, daß also Fahrzeugrahmen und Radgestell immer genau parallel gehalten werden. Dieser Gedanke ist grundsätzlich richtig, und auf ihm beruht auch die vorliegende Erfindung, aber die bisher bekannten Anordnungen haben zu keinem praktischen Erfolge geführt, und zwar aus folgendem Grunde: Man hat bisher übersehen, daß eine derartige Einrichtung nur dann wirksam sein kann, wenn der Belastungsausgleich zwischen den beiden Fahrzeugseiten augenblicklich eintritt. Jede Verzögerung des Ausgleiches ist gleichbedeutend mit völligem Versagen der Einrichtung, denn wenn die Ouerschwingung erst eingesetzt hat, kann sie wegen der entstandenen großen lebendigen Kräfte nicht mehr aufgehalten werden. Es kommt also darauf an, das Hebelsystem zwischen Fahrzeugrahmen und Radgestell so anzubringen, daß es vollkommen frei spielen kann, auch wenn der Fahrzeugrahmen sich in der Längsrichtung des Wagens gegenüber dem Radgestell verschiebt, denn eine solche Verschiebung findet gerade immer dann statt, wenn man die Wirkung des Hebelsystems am dringendsten braucht. Letzteres ist ohne weiteres verständlich, wenn man bedenkt, daß beim plötzlichen Ablenken des Wagens in eine Kurve oder beim plötzlichen Bremsen —■ den Hauptanlässen des Schleuderns — immer eine Verzögerung der Bewegung des Radgestells eintritt und daher der abgefederte Rahmen infolge der lebendigen Kraft gegenüber dem Radgestell nach vorn schießt.
