666,852. Spring suspensions. GREGOIRE, J. A. Dec. 31, 1947 [July 11, 1946], No. 35109/47. Class 108(ii). In a vehicle spring suspension of the type wherein the wheels are connected to the vehicle frame through a springily deformable parallelogram linkage having transverse arms and located in a plane transverse to the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle the spring or springs operate in tension and are connected respectively to one of the transverse arms and, the vehicle frame. In the arrangement shown, a coil spring 7 operates in tension between a vehicle frame 1 and the upper of a pair of parallel arms 2, 3, which are pivoted at their ends to, respectively, the vehicle frame and a member 4 supporting a wheel axle.
