Abstract

356,103. Centrifugal fans. BRITISH REMA MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd. and HOWDEN, P., Hubert Works, Highroad Well, Halifax, Yorkshire. May 1, 1930, No. 13401. [Class 110 (i).] Casings.-Gases containing powdered material enter the casing B of a centrifugal fan through an inlet pipe D which is tangential to a chamber A. The chamber A is concentric with the fan so that the incoming gases are given an initial whirling movement and enter the fan chamber spirally. The delivery pipe is divided by a hinged valve F which can be moved by a handle G to close an outlet or occupy a mid-way position.
