Spray carburettors.-A silencer for pulsating cur. rents of fluid and applicable, for example, to air intakes of carburettors; comprises a hollow body 1 traversed by the pul. sating current, and a chamber 3 located in the path of the current, but not traversed or entered by it and communicating therewith throughout one or more openings 4. When applied to the air intake of a carburettor, the annular passage 5 may be given a helicoidal form to whirl the air and cause dust, &c. to be projected on to the outside wall whence it may be collected.
