554,289. Dust traps. BOHATY, R., and EHRLTCH, J. July 31, 1942, No. 10746. [Class 8 (ii)] [Also in Group X] A dust trap suitable for an electric or internal-combustion motor or an air-conditioning plant for a motor vehicle comprises a wall 10 with a hole 13 and a pair of parallel baffles 14, 18 forming air inlet and outlet passages and dust-collecting pockets. Oil &c. may be disposed in the pockets. The wall 10 may be applied to an aperture 12 in a casing 11, Fig. 3 shows a more elaborate form of trap, and Fig. 4 shows a pair of traps applied to the casing of an electric motor.
