[Class 110 (i).] A centrifugal fan has a suction branch a and casing e rotatable independently of each other. The inlet opening b in the suction branch can be turned towards either of the suction pipes c<1>, c<2>, and the discharge opening f of the casing e towards either of the discharge pipes g<1>, g<2>. The casing is of circular section and is provided with a spiralshaped lining h. In the modification shown in Fig. 4, air enters the opening b from the atmosphere and is discharged through the opening f to the pipe i across the heater l. The casing e and the suction branch a form a single unit and can be rotated through 180‹. The fan then draws air from the pipe i through the opening b and discharges it to the atmosphere through the opening f ; the air current does not then pass over the heater.
