Abstract

341,305. Centrifugal pumps. BECK, W., 30, Rheingaustrasse, Biebrich, Wiesbaden, Germany. Feb. 12, 1930, No. 4754. Convention date, Feb. 28, 1929. [Class 110 (i).] The rotor runs within a removable casing mounted within an exterior casing. One of the side walls of the interior casing is separable from the main portion 2 and is carried by an end wall of the exterior casing which is hingedly mounted so that the interior of the pump can be readily exposed for inspection. The portion 2 of the interior casing is attached to the casing 6 on the same side as the inlet 16 and the shaft 15, and comprises a diffuser channel 4 and a guide channel 5. The cross sectional area of the channel 5 increases towards the juncture 11 with the outlet pipe 7.
