Convention date, Nov. 30, 1928. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Drawings to Specification. [Class 39 (ii).] In a lamp, more particularly one having a gas filling and a tungsten filament, the inner portions of the leading-in wires consist at least in part of molybdenum. In one. example, a leading-in wire consists of an inner molybdenum portion, a central part which is fused through the glass stem and consists of copper-covered alloy of nickel and iron, and an outer copper conductor. In a modification, powdered molybdenum for absorbing oxygen, is applied to nickel leads at that portion adjacent the filament. The powder may be applied as a suspension in alcohol, nitrocellulose being used as a binder. Specification 10918/13, [Class 39 (ii), Heating by electricity], is referred to.
