349,922. Printing-machines. ADDRESSOGRAPH CO., 901, West Van Buren Street, Chicago, U.S.A. Jan. 31, 1930, No. 6949/31. Convention date, Nov. 1, 1929. Divided on 348,025. [Class 100 (ii).] Printing-surfaces.-A printing-cylinder for use in a printing-machine as described in Specification 348,025 and with an impression cylinder as described in Specification 349,921 is constructed of a ring 20 with bevelled edges 23, 24 to co-operate with the bevelled edges 14, 15 of a drum 10 over which the ring is slipped. The electrotype or other printing-surface 21 is connected by screws to the ring 20, and the ring is correctly registered by means of a pin 26 on the drum and a slot 25 in the ring, this connection also preventing circumferential movement of the ring. The ring 20 is securely held between the bevelled edges 14, 15 of the drum, and bevelled edges 18 of a clamping ring 17 which fits over the supporting shaft 6 and is pressed aixally by a hand-operated nut 28. The outer part of the drum 10 is connected by a conical web 12 to a sleeve 9 which fits on the shaft 6.
