Stencilling - machines; addressing machines; inking-apparatus.-In stencil duplicating-machines of the flat or rotary type, a printing-plate is arranged to print in conjunction with the stencil. As shown, a flexible rubber or metal plate 10 is fixed over a stencil 9 on the drum 1 of a rotary duplicator, the stencil being inked in the usual way by devices inside the drum, and the plate 10 by hand or by an inking-roller 14 in contact with a duct-roller 13 arranged in a duct 12 pivoted at 11 and spring-pressed towards the drum. The roITer 14 is rotated continuously or intermittently by teeth 19 on the drum, and is tripped to avoid inking the stencil by means of a cam 17 on the drum. To print an addressed letter, the plate 10 may consist of a readily removable address-plate.
