Drawings to Specification. [Class 100 (ii).] Inking-apparatus.-A distributing-roller for the inking-apparatus of a lithographic printing- machine is provided with a layer or coating of hard rubber, or etched zinc or aluminium. Such a roller exerts greater driving effort on the contacting inking-rollers than the usual steel distributing-rollers and also readily takes up the ink and any water which reaches the inking-apparatus from the plate cylinder.
