Abstract
Lumps of synthetic resin are enveloped with a differently coloured adhesive by dipping either in coloured adhesive, or in plain adhesive and afterwards rolling in one or more colouring powders, the coated lumps thus formed being moulded under pressure in known manner, to produce a veined decorated article. The adhesive itself may be synthetic resin and may be produced by dipping the lumps of material in a solvent to soften the outer layer.
