Abstract

Sliding clasp fasteners made of synthetic resin are moulded and fastened to the cloth or other material so as to be ready for use, in a single operation. The edge of the material is inserted into the mould and then powdered or plastic resin added and heated and pressed to form a whole row of the fastening elements. Metal reinforcements may be embedded in the bodies of the fastening elements.
