Abstract

524,480. Releasable fastenings. SPITZ, E. Jan. 31, 1939, No. 3238. Convention date, May 21, 1938. [Class 44] Two portions of material are connected by a beaded edge 7 on one portion 6 being inserted longitudinally into a grooving formed by a series of rigid C-shaped jaw members 9 separately and independently secured on the other portion 4. The material of the said other portion is shown folded over the jaw members and lining the interiors thereof. The jaw members may be of a form shown in Fig. 1 and clamped on to a beaded edge 5 of the said other portion 4 and in this case the members may be arranged in spaced groups.
