Abstract

533,909. Garment fastenings. PLASCO. Ltd., and THOMPSON, G. N. Dec. 15, 1939, No. 32302. [Class 141] [Also in Group XXV] One stringer of a sliding clasp fastening is fixed with means for securing it in one of a number of pockets whereby the girth of the garment can be varied. As shown, one stringer Fig. 2, is secured to the part 2 of a gown, the complementary stringer being secured in one of a number of pockets 3. The detachable stringer is provided with holes 5, Fig. 5, through which press-stud fastening members 4, 4a on the walls of the pocket 3, are passed.
