239,472. Winterhalter, M. March 16, 1925, [Convention date]. Sliding-clasp fastenings for wearing-apparel and the like of the type in which fastening members are engaged and disengaged by a slider. The slider f has a ball c or roller centrally disposed at its wide end to take thrust of the fastening members and reduce friction. A cage a is formed on the plates b of the slider to hold the ball, or if a roller is used a pivot-pin is provided. The plates b extend from the edges of a slit in a base-plate e.
