[Class 44] [Also in Group VII A fastening device for the flies of trousers, for placket-holes or the sides of dresses &c. comprises a flexible toothed strip A secured within a hem F of one part of the garment for engagement with a tight fit in pockets or sheaths formed by cross stitching D in a strip C secured to the other part of the garment, or in a turnedover hem of this part. The strip may be made - of celluloid, or of the same material, suitably processed, as the garment.
