242,900. Gummiwaren - Fabrik M. Steinberg. April 17, 1925, [Convention date]. Moulding by dipping.-In the manufacture of dipped rubber articles, a bath with a colour patterned upper layer is employed, whereby on withdrawing the former from the bath, a surface mottling or marbling is produced. The colours of the upper layer may be arranged regularly or irregularly, and the solvent may be of lower specific gravity than that of the body of the bath, to minimize mixing. For thick articles, the last dip only is made in this bath. A gloss may be imparted by a final dip in a transparent solution.
