346,739. Miners' electric lamps. DALOZ, J. G., 49, Rue du 22 Septembre, Courbevoie, Seine, France. Oct. 12, 1929, No. 31036. Convention date, Nov. 8, 1928. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Addition to 316,281, [Class 39 (ii), Electric lamps, Incandescent]. [Class 39 (ii).] Battery lamps; bulbs.-In miners' lamps according to the parent Specification, the bell is filled with liquid which is prevented from contacting with conducting parts so as to avoid electrolytic deterioration of the elastic membrane. The bulb g may have a rim g<2> over which the edge f<2> of the membrane f engages, or this edge may engage over a glass or other insulating ring placed over the bulb before the bulb is introduced into the socket. In assembling the lamp, sufficient liquid is introduced into the bell, with the membrane f projecting therefrom, to fill the bell when the membrane is pushed into the position shown, the liquid pressure thus keeping the circuit closed at j<2> against the action of the spring k.
