[Class 7 (vi).] The duration of opening of the fuel-injection valve b is varied by a centrifugal governor p which effects an angular adjustment of epicyclic gearing g, g<1>, h driving a pair of cams e, which actuate the valve through a lever f. The governor sleeve n is connected by links k, l, m to links i carrying the gear wheels h.
