Abstract

343,608. Vehicle windows. WEYMANN, C. T., 18, Rue Troyon, Paris. Nov- 26, 1929, No. 36236. Convention date, Sept. 20. [Class 20 (iii).] A sliding window in a vehicle door is guided on the hinged side of door throughout its full range of movement by recessed or dovetailed or like engaging parts 23, 22 in the door and sash respectively which prevent horizontal displacement of the window and is guided only to the top of the well on the opposite side. The frame guide 11 in the door comprises a felt-lined channel of rubber &c. adapted to engage the framed or unframed edge of the glass. The member 22 is composed of leather or other suitable material screwed preferably with an intervening leather band 27 to the sash. The sash member 119 if provided is removably secured by screws at its ends to facilitate removal of the glass. A suitable regulator such as an endless chain 20 is provided.
