339,216. Knorr-Bremse Akt.-Ges. April 16, 1929, [Convention date]. Pistons; packing.-In a compressor &c. employing a solid lubricant the side thrust of the connecting-rod is taken by.rings c, of a material capable of absorbing the lubricant, arranged near the ends of the piston. The rings c may be of fibre or vulcanized fibre. The grooves of the packing-ring or rings d are made sufficiently deep to prevent the side thrust from being taken by the packing-rings.
