Hoods.-In vehicles having a closable aperture in the roof, the roof inner lining is formed in sections, each section being adapted to be wound upon a separate spring-controlled roller. As shown the cover 3 is manipulated by means of gearing and a spring controlled roller 2, the front part of the cover being secured to the front hoop-stick 4. The lining 8 is formed in three sections, each section being secured at one end to a sliding hoop stick 11, 12 or the fixed bar 9 and the other end to a spring-actuated roller 10, 12, 14. Lazy-tong mechanism 7 may connect the separate hoop-sticks.
