Abstract

331,601. Robinson, Ltd., E. S. & A., Bond, R. H., and Dufty, S. April 12, 1929. Boxes made from special blanks and with means for displaying advertisements &c.-In order to display the contents of a collapsable box, the bottom portion is hingedly connected to a wall and adapted to be displaced about the hinge inwardly of the box into an inclined position in which it is supported by one or more part, carried by a wall of the box. As shown the box is formed from a pair of blanks; one blank comprises a front section b, the bottom section a hinged thereto, side section a<1>, back section c and lid section d, e cut and creased so as to be folded for display purposes and the other blank comprises a rear section f and side sections f<1> connected to flaps b<1> on the front section b. The rear corners of the sections f, f<1> are creased and cut at f<4>, f<5> to form the parts which can be pushed inwards to support the bottom a in the inclined position. The lid may be supported in the display position by the engagement of its closing tab e with a rest or clip c' cut from the back section c.
