Boxes formed from special blanks and combined with means for displaying advertisements. - A box, carton, &c. has a portion of the lid and a portion of the body adjacent thereto partly cut out in such a manner that, when the lid is opened, the cut-out portions may be bent forward in front of the lid while still attached to the lid at the top and to the body of the box at the bot. tom to form a representation of the goods displayed in the box or other advertising matter. The box shown in Fig. 2 is folded up from the blank shown in Fig. 1, cuts n - - q being formed in the lid h and adjacent portion of the partly-cut out top b and being connected by creases or folds indicated by the dotted lines so that the portions r, s, t between the cut stand forward, when the lid is folded at right angles to the box, and represent the cartons &c. contained in the box. The cut-out portions may represent a face and may be provided with an additional cut-out tab.
