Abstract

452,251. Display cartons. HIGHAM, G., 2, Sudbrook Gardens, Ham Common, Richmond, Surrey. Dec. 16, 1935, No. 34863. [Class 18] [See also Group XVIII] Cardboard cartons for food stuffs and other small articles are provided with transverse slots 1, Figs. 1 and 4 and 6, in opposite side walls 2, so that by engagement of flaps 4 with these slots or with the opening between the edge of the lid and the body, a number of cartons can be built up for display purposes. The cartons mav be of the form shown in folded position in Fig. 1, or in set-up position in Fig. 6. Additional slots parallel to slots 1 may be provided, and a tongue 5 may be arranged to lie along the top of a carton.
