Abstract

359,630. Cigarette &c. cartons. BROWNE, G. W., 1, Eden Quay, Dublin. Aug. 27, 1930, No. 25563. [Class 18.] A cigarette &c. carton or container is provided with a slot 3 in the outer casing 1 through which the free end or cover of a folder 5 containing matches or other article is inserted. and passed upwards inside the casing until the end 8 of the folder engages the slot ; the free end is then folded over the edge 6 of the casing, which is cut away to prevent lateral movement of the folder, and secured to the bottom of the folder. If the outer casing is double walled the slot may be cut in the outer wall and the end of the folder passed up between the walls.
