Abstract

224,115. Field, E. M. Dec. 29, 1923. Wrappers. - A wrapper for enclosing a carton is formed from a paper blank having three main panels 2, 5, 10 provided with separate side wings, the central wing 8 being gummed for sealing the package, and is weakened by perforations or like along lines 6, 7 coinciding with the edges of the lid of the carton so that on pulling a tongue on the lid which protrudes through a slot 9 in the wrapper, the wrapper is readily severed to give access to the contents of the carton.
