Electric radiators. -In an imitation fire comprising a flicker device 28 and imitation fuel 26, vertical troughshaped heat-reflectors 15 are provided at each side of the "fuel." Heating- elements 19 constructed, for example as described in Specification 317,239, are screened by the reflectors 15, and curved reflectors 20 behind them project converging beams of heat into the room. The " fuel " 26 is backed by a matt-surfaced reflector 29 arranged between the heat reflectors, which are polished. A further heating-element 21 and reflector 24 may be mounted horizontally under the canopy 11.
