[Class 126.] A gas fire comprises a number of concave radiants e supported in a rearwardly-inclined position on a concave and rearwardly-inclined back c, so as to impart an upward direction to the radiation. In horizontal section the back may be straight, concave, or forwardly convex as shown in Fig. 2. A front reflector f, preferably having a corrugated section is provided.
