June 12, 1934. L. SULZER FLUID FUEL BURNING FIREPLACE Filed April 4, 1934 FIG].
INVENTOR 7 LUCIEN SULZER 0 B7 ATTORNEY Patented June 12, 1934 UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A FLUID FUEL BURNING FIREPLACE Lucien Sulzer, Chicago, Ill.
Application April 4, 1934, Serial No. 51,308
Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LUCIEN SULZER, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at 432 West Superior Street, Chicago, county of Cook, and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Fluid Fuel Burning Fireplace, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the fireplace with transparent door or window showing a silhouette and Fig. 2 is a more detailed view through the door or window showing the imitation logs.
My design comprises a fireplace, in the fire pit of which are imitation logs having vents through which come flame caused by the burning of the fluid fuel. A transparent door or window keeps the fumes of the burning fuel from passing into the room but being transparent preserves the visibility of the beauty of the apparently burning logs. In addition my design provides for a silhouette on the transparent door or window.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a fluid fuel burning fireplace substantially as shown and described.
LUCIEN SULZER.
