Abstract

327,817. Bosch, F. Feb. 20, 1929. Lids; opening arrangements. - A case for a watch or similar article comprises a bottom tray b having sides c and an end piece d, and a hinged lid l to which the article a is attached. By the application of pressure in the direction A on an end piece e a lever k is rotated and the lid l is opened. The extent of opening is limited by stops m. The end piece e is formed integrally with a base plate a sliding under guides h and with a partition f acting against compression springs n. The springs are too weak to move the lid when in its open position but serve to return the end piece e to its initial position when closed. The article can be swung out about a hinge a' for winding, and is normally retained by a catch p and a button q. Specification 313,868 is referred to.
