Seat adjustments; rests, back; frames. - A chair of the kind having a vertically and angularly adjustable seat and an adjustble back-rest comprises a supporting frame below the seat, front and rear connections between the seat and said frame, and means accessible to the occupant, for adjusting the tilt of the seat in relation to the frame. Such a chair is shown in the drawing comprising a vertically adjustable standard q carrying a cruciform supporting frame d, f, to which seat a is pivoted at P and is adjustably securable at the front by means of the slots j and screws k. The back-rest l is adjustably securable on the arm o, by means of the slotted member n and screw p. Vertical adjustment of the member q within the member t may be obtained by pedal-operated means such as described in Specification 310,282.
