Metal blocks 6 are embedded in a plastics seat pan 7, provided with a cushion 8. Slide 3 is secured by screws 5 and runs on balls 4, on fixed rail 2. A known form of hinge (12, 13) supports a back-rest (14) at an adjustable inclination.
