Fixed-abutment type ; regulating pumps.-Power transmission apparatus employing liquid or gaseous media comprises pumps and motors having sliding and oscillating vanes and adjustable abutments. In one form, the adjustable abutment h, Fig. 1, of a pump or motor carries a spindle k on which the vanes m are mounted. In another form, a pump f, Fig. 4, and motor f<1> are mounted in a common casing, the eccentricity of the pump being adjustable by a frame comprising blocks h, h<1> united by frames s, and the spindle k being loosely mounted inside the pump rotor. The vanes have flanged ends, the frames s have oblique ribs t, Fig. 3, and slots u, and the motor frame has slots y.
